Outreach Specialist and Community Overdose Prevention Program Manager

Iliana Espinosa-Ravi received an MSW and an MPH from the University of Illinois at Chicago and currently serves as an Outreach Specialist and the Community Overdose Prevention Program Manager for the Chicago Recovery Alliance (CRA), an organization dedicated to the philosophy of harm reduction and serving people actively using a variety of substances. Prior to joining the CRA team, Iliana worked as a Mental Health Worker in a housing first program as well as in community-based behavioral health centers to support people struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. Iliana has been involved in social justice work since 2009 and has worked in the field of behavioral health since 2014. Iliana strives to approach her work from an anti-systems-of-oppression and intersectional framework that addresses health justice from various lenses including those specific to race, gender, ability, and socio-economic status.
