Kristina West, MS, LLM. is a policy analyst with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. West serves as the lead expert for Maternal and Child Behavioral Health and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. Ms. West also serves as an advisor on several issues related to child and adolescent behavioral health, including coordinated specialty care for early psychosis, school-based behavioral health treatment and prevention, treatment and supports for people with autism spectrum disorder, integrated care for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder and insurance coverage and reimbursement for child and adolescent mental health. MS. West has also served as a detailee at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. Kristina received a Masters of Law degree from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria and her MS degree in Health policy from the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
