Ashley Nettles is an Overdose Prevention Program Specialist who works with Ventura County Behavioral Health, Alcohol and Drug Programs, Prevention Services, to provide overdose prevention education and training to Ventura County residents along with building partnerships with community partners to increase overdose prevention awareness. Ashley’s passion for her work is fueled by her personal family experience. She knows firsthand how opioid addiction can effect families and believes that every life is worth saving and with community partnerships and dedication we can prevent overdose deaths and Opioid addiction. Ashley has worked with many non-profit organizations to provide services to high-risk populations. She is actively serving as the Outreach Director of a non-profit organization that serves under resourced families. Ashley Nettles is a trained overdose responder and certified overdose prevention trainer. Ashley Nettles hold an Associate’s Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Ventura College and is a current student at the California State University Channel Islands.
