As President and Principal Consultant of EVALCORP, Dr. Donovan assists agencies in determining current and future needs, measuring the impacts of programs and initiatives, and providing strategic planning services for maximized effectiveness. In addition to her quantitative and qualitative skills, Dr. Donovan maintains expertise in the fields of alcohol and drug use prevention and treatment, criminal justice, mental health, public health, education, children’s services, and organization development. She is an active member of the American Evaluation Association and Organization Development Network, and has conducted over 350 evaluation and planning projects. Dr. Donovan is an Evaluation Advisor and Board Member to several nonprofit organizations serving youth in California. She holds M.A. and doctorate degrees in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, and a B.A. in Psychology with a Business Administration minor from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Following a 12-year career as a County and State Analyst in the justice field, she founded EVALCORP in 2002 to assist organizations with making data-driven decisions, and ultimately, increasing individual and community health, well-being and safety. She has been honored with Awards for Excellence in Planning, Evaluation, and Applied Research twice for her work with County agencies.
