Substance Use Services Treatment Coordinator

Rochelle Galey, LCSW, LAC, MAC, SOMB approved provider, has been a Social Worker for over 20 years. Rochelle has worked in group homes, a Domestic Violence Shelter, a Community Mental Health Crisis Center and with Vanderbilt Institute for Public Policy Studies. Most recently she has been the Manager of Youth and Family Services for Substance Use Treatment at Island Grove Detox and Regional Treatment Center. For 10 years, she was the Substance Use Services Program Coordinator and Therapist at Platte Valley Youth Services Center. Rochelle developed programming for substance use services, was a direct service provider to youth and families, as well as, a clinical supervisor in these positions. Now, Rochelle is the State of Colorado, Substance Use Services Coordinator for the Division of Youth Services. She oversees Certified Addiction Counselor training and provides Clinical Supervision and program development to enhance effective and trauma-informed service delivery within in 10 detention and/or commitment facilities. Rochelle is also an Adjunct Professor at Colorado State University, School of Social Work where she teaches Social Welfare Policy in the MSW program. Rochelle is passionate about a holistic approach to integrated treatment, harm reduction efforts, and evidence-based treatment using the ASAM continuum of care.
