University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy
Dr. Freeman holds several positions in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky, including Associate Professor in the Pharmacy Practice and Science Department; Director of the Center for the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice; and Faculty Associate in the Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy (IPOP). Dr. Freeman’s research is focused on drug abuse policy, including the impact and effectiveness of prescription drug monitoring programs and harm reduction policies such as pharmacy-based naloxone access laws. Dr. Freeman received a bachelor of pharmacy degree and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Kentucky.
