State Representative (R)
Representative Kim Moser is in her second term in the KY General Assembly. She has many years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and as a flight nurse on a Neonatal Transport Team.
Rep. Moser is the immediate Past-President of the American Medical Association Alliance, leading advocacy on health care and medical legislative issues and has served in many advocacy roles prior to her election. She is the founding Director of the Northern Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy, where she worked to eliminate the scourge of Heroin and Substance Abuse and has been instrumental in passing legislation to combat the heroin epidemic.
Her passion about Health Care and Medical Legislative issues and has led to effective advocacy on local, state and national levels. Rep. Moser is Chair of the Kentucky House Health and Family Services Committee and chaired Medicaid Oversight and Advisory Committee for two years. She sponsored legislation in 2017 to cap opioid prescriptions and increase trafficking penalties, and is a leader on addiction, health care and criminal justice policy.
Rep. Moser lives in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, with her physician husband. They have five sons and two grandchildren.
