This session will alert attendees to emerging threats that are relevant to all stakeholders. A panel of experts will provide the latest data on the evolving opioid crisis, describe the rise in stimulants and synthetic opioids, and explain the evolution of the distribution network. Topics will include identifying and responding to emerging threats; the public health impacts of increased stimulant use, identification of high risk populations, and the policy and programmatic response to address this emerging phenomenon; and the dark web and cryptocurrency. The audience will have the opportunity to interact with the panel during a question and answer period.
