Paul Gramlich is a Senior Scientist at Amgen in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He completed is PhD in Chemical Engineering at Johns Hopkins in the lab of Professor Mike Betenbaugh. He has been part of the Drug Substance organization of Process Development for the past 4 years. At Amgen, he has worked to developed intensified and continuous processes with the goal of continuing the shrink the footprint of biomanufacturing. He is also the Process Characterization Business Owner, a role in which he has collaborated to develop manufacturing control strategies for varied protein modalities and bioprocess formats.
