Mohammad received his PhD in analytical chemistry from Florida State University in 2004. In 2005, he joined the Analytical Research & Development department at Merck where he supported the development of active pharmaceutical ingredient synthetic routes. In 2012, Mohammad joined the Small Molecule Analytical Chemistry group at Genentech. He is currently a senior scientist leading research groups to support the early stage development of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products. His research interests include ultra-fast separations and two-dimensional chromatographic techniques.
