Robert A Freeman has over 40 years' experience in the global pharmaceutical industry, consulting, and pharmacy education, focusing on issues related to R&D policy and science policy, health econonomics & outcomes research, and pharmaceutical economics and finance. His industry experience includes health economics and policy, new product planning, licensing and business development, and international trade. Most recently, he retired from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy and Allied Health where he was Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and administration. He is the author of over 85 publications and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. He is especially interested in helping new pharmaceutical scientists and clinicians develop dtheir careers in industry and academia.
