Student Volunteering: 'What, like it's hard?'

Thursday, October 17
9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
Location: Wind River

Institutions wrestle with providing meaningful opportunities for students to engage both on campus and in the local community. Moreover, international educators strive to bridge the gap between American and international students. The UA Refugee Project provides international and local students with a unique opportunity for internationalization at home. This program allows students to volunteer within community organizations which serve refugee populations. Come learn how to build and assess a successful volunteer program with intercultural competency as a cornerstone.
