The objective of the session is to inform the audience of the basic tax information and rules for international students and scholars in the US.

Cassandra is a military kid and grew up all over the world. She ended up in Texas after high school and stayed to do both her Undergraduate and Graduate schooling. She received her Master's in International Studies and has worked in higher education with international students ever since. She has been working at the University of Utah for the past three years as both DSO and ARO advising both students on an F-1 and J-1 visa; she recently moved into the role of J-1 Program Coordinator, working specifically with J-1 Scholars.

Vice President

Enda has been assisting nonresident students and scholars with their US Federal and State returns since 2014. He has the IRS VITA Foreign National qualification and is currently studying to become an IRS enrolled agent. Over the last five years he has delivered more than 150 tax workshops all across the US, including at NAFSA Regional conference and in May 2019 chaired the tax presentation at the NAFSA National Conference in DC. During the same time period Sprintax has assisted more than 400,000 nonresidents with their taxes.
