Important Allies for Increasing Education Abroad Participation

Wednesday, October 16
9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
Location: Sheridan

We’ve all read that about 70% of entering students indicate an interest in studying abroad, but only 10% participate. Two groups who can be instrumental in our efforts to promote education abroad long before the student begins the investigatory process are academic advisors and students’ parents. How can we better incorporate advisors and parents into our promotional efforts in order to boost participation? How can technology be enlisted to support these efforts? We have programs and ideas to share but bring your ideas along with your questions.
