Thursday, October 17
2:00 PM - 3:15 PM
Location: Sheridan

With Climate Change discussion now rooted in mainstream news and politics, and Generation Z's adoption of sustainability as a prominent value, focus on these issues is no longer a niche for the tree-hugging hippie! We’ll define and discuss sustainability as it relates to our field, sharing current practice and resources uncovered by an industry wide survey. Attendees will take away achievable goals that enable institutions to move towards addressing sustainable travel, gain confidence to engage in discussions, incorporate issues as learning outcomes and better prepare students.
