This will be an open discussion with all participants in the room and moderated by ISSS leaders from the Region II Team. Attendees will be encouraged to bring up scenarios and receive advice and feedback from a room full of peers in an open format (this is non-presentation based). We encourage attendees both to ask questions and provide feedback for others.

Sam Brown is the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at BYU. He leads the office team in assisting students and exchange visitors in maintaining their lawful status, and in providing holistic support for the international student and scholar community. Sam graduated with his BA, MPA, MS, and EdD degrees from BYU and Kansas State.

Tracy Falconer

Asst Director; Office of International Education
University of Nebraska at Kearney

Tracy is currently an Assistant Director for International Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. In her current role as PDSO and RO, she oversees all student services, immigration, and admissions for the F and J student population. Tracy is an international education professional with over 12 years’ experience in the field in intensive English, non-immigrant visa regulations, orientation and student services programming, and SEVIS compliance.
Tracy is a NAFSA Academy Alumni, has been an ISSS, TLC, and EA KC proposal reviewer, is a member of Trainer Corps, and has presented at Region II conferences and national NAFSA conference.
