This session will demonstrate that a collaborative relationship between the local health department and the county political subdivision partners provides many opportunities to: (1) engage subdivision partners in HiAP activities; (2) develop cross-sector relationships and synchronize messaging; (3) share local health department services and program information related to the Centers for Disease Control Winnable Battles; (4) develop the local health department workforce to enhance sharing of data and increase knowledge of services and programs; and (5) serve as visible leaders among county and state public health partners to replicate this practice in other local health departments around the state.
