The Black Hawk County Health Department (BHCHD) will serve in the position of lead Community Health Strategist to drive the development of cross-organizational initiatives to promote health equity and well-being for diverse communities residing in Black Hawk County. In this new role, BHCHD will convene and engage interdisciplinary representatives from public, private, faith-based sectors, and marginalized community members, forming an advisory group that leverages unique, culturally sensitive strategies to achieve health equity.
