Kristine Gonnella is currently the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives for the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium a Public Health Management Corporation affiliate. In this position, Kristine fosters strategic partnerships and collaborations to advance the role of nurses and principles of nursing in the community health, public health and primary care. During her tenure at NNCC, Kristine has managed over $3 million of federal, state and foundation grants related to community health, public health and primary care. Kristine regularly engages with federal, state, foundations, nonprofits and industry to advance NNCC’s portfolio of services and programs including but not limited to provider engagement, public housing, nurse home visiting, environmental health and Hepatitis C as they relate to rural and underserved populations. Kristine spent 2 years in Benin, West Africa as a community health volunteer with the Peace Corps and is currently pursuing her PhD in Health Policy at Temple University.
