Program Manager, Prevention and Education Services

Claudia Jackson, MPH is the Program Manager of the Systems Training, Education and Prevention Services Program at the Department of Health in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She has served in this capacity since February 2019. In this role, she develops the programming, mission, and goals of the STEPS program to fully operationalize and integrate the prevention efforts within the jurisdiction to improve health outcomes.
Claudia is an extremely motivated and results-driven Public Health professional with extensive experience in the Health and Wellness arena. She received a B.A. from Hampton University and a MPH with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
With 10 years of Health Care experience beginning as a Research Specialist, Claudia’s background, experience and passion for Public Health led her to the roles where she developed and managed the entire life cycle of prevention, outreach and educational programs that led to an increase in health awareness to promote positive change.
Additionally, Claudia has extensive knowledge of the Program Management and Training Process and a proven track record of delivering projects on time within scope and budget.
