Amanda earned her BA in Public Health Studies and ScM in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University, and she also maintains a current CPH license. She currently works for the Jackson County Health Department in Missouri as the Quality Improvement Manager. In this role, she oversees the department's efforts to attain PHAB accreditation along with quality improvement, performance management, and workforce development. In a previous role with the Kansas City, MO Health Department where she worked as a Public Health Statistician, she led the process of updating and improving the department’s community health assessment, including the process of moving it to a digital format.
