Health Planning, Education, & Promotion Program Administrator

Beth Kregenow is a Program Administrator with the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County. Overseeing health planning, education and promotion for the agency, Beth is responsible for the community health assessment and improvement plan, community outreach, and various prevention programs. Prior to joining the Department of Health, Beth had experience in various health settings including acute care, practice management, pediatrics, a hospital association, and public health. Beth was Vice President of Business Development with an acute care community hospital in Oregon and Vice President of Health Initiatives with a regional hospital association in Ohio. At the hospital association, Beth coordinated efforts of more than 20 hospitals in areas including uncompensated care, trauma, community health, patient accounts, social work, nursing, and quality improvement. This included a regional health assessment of eleven counties. With additional experience in community relations, physician communication, and referral management, Beth has a well rounded knowledge of health care and public health.
