Hope Worden Kenefick, MSW, PhD has been a consultant since 2000 providing evaluation, strategic planning, and health communications services to a range of public sector and non-profit clients, including the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local health departments, health care organizations, academic institutions, and community-based agencies. She has expertise in formative, process, and outcomes evaluation and utilizes both qualitative and quantitative methods in her work. She is the evaluator the HRSA-funded Region 1 New England Public Health Training Center and the state-funded Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts, both located at the Boston University School of Public Health. Prior to consulting, Hope was a program manager at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and responsible for the design, implementation, management and evaluation of several maternal and child health and women’s health programs. She earned a Ph.D. in social work and sociology and a Master’s in social work, both from Boston University, and a B.A. from Colby College.
