Health Education Coordinator
Public Health Madison & Dane County
Nina Gregerson, MPH, MCHES, serves as a Health Education Coordinator for Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC). In the six and a half years she has been with PHMDC, Nina has worked on tobacco prevention and control efforts, health and racial equity, housing insecurity, and PHMDC’s 2018 Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan. Nina has extensive knowledge and skills in systems, policy, and environmental change strategies, partner engagement, health equity, and evaluation. Her role allows her to effectively engage with both adults and youth to change attitudes and knowledge around health behavior change. She received her undergraduate degree in Community Health Education from UW-La Crosse (2013) and her Master’s in Public Health from UW-Madison (2016). She maintains a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certificate, as well.
