Kori Wilford, MPH, is a Communications Specialist with the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment in northern Colorado and has worked there as a public health professional for nearly twenty years, primarily as a health educator with the Title X Family Planning Program. In 2010 she started 'Protext Yourself,' a successful anonymous sexual health Q & A texting line for teens. She has been instrumental in developing comprehensive sexuality education curriculums for the Poudre School District, and has provided sexuality education to over 25,000 people in Larimer County since 2000. In addition, Kori contributed to the success of the Colorado Family Planning Initiative by helping to develop Colorado's Beforeplay.org campaign and serving as the Statewide Outreach Coordinator for the project between 2012-2015. Since 2016, Kori has enjoyed working in the Public Information Office, providing communications and outreach support for the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment's twenty-six programs, managing social media, and honing her graphic design and video production skills.
