Director of Evaluation
NACCHO
Dr. Debra Dekker is the Director of Evaluation for NACCHO. She leads all evaluation-related activities at NACCHO and provides technical support to NACCHO staff and local health departments participating in NACCHO-sponsored activities. Technical support includes program logic model development, identification of performance measures and indicators, the creation of data collection instruments, data analysis, and reporting results of program output and reach, short-term, intermediate, and long-term outcomes. Dr. Dekker is also responsible for writing and implementing detailed performance management and evaluation plans. She is skilled in data collection methodologies including on-line surveys, facilitating focus groups and key informant interviews, and quantitative and qualitative data analytical methods. Dr. Dekker earned her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
