Gianna Anderson is a registered nurse that has worked as a Public Health Nurse for 5 1/2 years at the Kenosha County Division of Health. . She graduated from the UW Milwaukee-UW Parkside consortium nursing program in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. The first 2 1/2 years of her nursing career at Kenosha County Health Department, she worked as a school nurse overseeing eight schools, with grades ranging from KG-12th grade. For the last 3 years, she has been fortunate enough to transition into addiction and treatment focused nursing, while partnering with community agencies to develop and utilize injectable Naltrexone for alcohol and opioid dependent individuals within Kenosha County. Through this experience, she has developed a passion for helping individuals overcome their addictions and focus on themselves and their recovery. Although new to working in the addiction field as a nurse, she is excited to continue to learn and grow in the field of addiction, assisting clients in their recovery journey.
