Sr. Human Services Program Specialist

Pamela Hope, MSW, Sr Human Services Program Specialist has been employed with the Violence Intervention and Prevention Program at the Florida Department of Health in Putnam County for the past eight years. In this position, she provides crisis intervention, advocacy and therapy services to victims of crime and abuse.
Pamela earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed coursework in the doctoral program for marriage and family therapy at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.
Although Pamela is well versed to work with survivors of all ages, her certification in play therapy allows her to provide specialized therapy services focused on helping child survivors of sexual abuse recover emotionally and provides them with support as their cases go through the criminal justice system.
In addition to her current work in victim services, Pamela has a strong background in working with the military. She has held family advocate and counseling positions in Veteran’s Centers.
Pamela brings much to her work in advocacy and therapy in Putnam County. Her humor, insight, and tireless dedication to helping victims recover and seek justice has earned her high regard from clients, co-workers, and the social services and victim services professional communities.
