Salvador Marquez, CHES, is a Project Coordinator for the Northeas Texas Public Health District's Center for Healthy LIving. He began his work in public health as an undergraduate intern at the Northeast Texas Public Health District’s Center for Healthy Living. After the conclusion of his internship, Salvador was offered the role of Project Coordinator of NET Health’s newest project. This role provides the opportunity for Salvador to bridge the gap of health care to individuals in underserved populations. Additionally, Salvador serves as a diabetes prevention health educator. Salvador received his Bachelors of Science in Health Studies in 2017 from the University of Texas at Tyler, as well as his Certified Health Education Specialist certification. Salvador loves a good Netflix binge, but he also tries to stay active and enjoys staying up late to read a good thriller.
