Paige Goforth is a certified oncology PA in Kingsport, Tennessee. Earning her Master's of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, she received the PA Student Advocate Award for exemplary professionalism, selflessness, and sensitivity to the comfort of patients. An original member of APSHO and a board director from 2016-2019, she has dedicated her career to making a valuable contribution to quality cancer care. Her clinical experience includes hematology/oncology; long-term care; general and orthopedic surgery; internal, family and emergency medicine. She has published in BMC Cancer on the comparative effects of tocopherol and colon cancer, and in JADPRO on diagnosis, aggressive malignancy, and benign lesions. At the first annual JADPRO Live conference, she presented a poster on merkel cell carcinoma, the skin cancer that affected her mother. Her mother's cancer is one of the personal brushes with cancer that inspires her work.
