Industry 4.0 is a massive digital transformation of manufacturing, supply chains and their relationships to product engineering processes. At the core of Industry 4.0 is the Industrial IOT (IIOT) which enables the connectivity of all industrial machines to applications. Even though there are today 8 billion IOT devices installed in the world, only 15% of Industrial Control Systems (a market of $ 170 Billions) are connected to industrial IOT and this will grow to 60% or more by 2023 according to a McKinsey study on Industry 4.0.
While the economic benefits of this Industrial Digital Revolution are massive, so are the potential Cybersecurity threats. The first main vulnerability drivers will be Access Security to the IIOT, the interaction between IIOT and Industrial applications, Clouds for Big Data Analytics and AI through ICS protocols and processes. The presentation will cover a new way to approach cybersecurity throughout the Industrial process from Industrial Applications to IIOTs with real world customer examples.
