Security Awareness training programs can and should have a positive impact on building a strong culture of security within your organization. But all too often the training bombs and becomes more of a check the box pain for the staff with little to no learning. Training can be an excellent tool to helping staff understand that security is everyone’s responsibility. But it needs to be done correctly to ensure complete understanding and commitment throughout the organization. In this session you hear how an expert in the learning development partnered with (ISC)2’s security team to develop an engaging and effective training. Listen to war stories of what didn’t work to avoid the same mistakes, share your challenges to identify potential solutions from industry colleagues, and identify adult learning tools that can make security awareness training engaging, fun and impactful.
