Hear how the adoption of digitalization and automation technologies resulting in increased connectivity of industrial networks forces OT (operational technology) and IT security teams to increase cooperation. While connectivity has many productivity and efficiency advantages, it makes OT networks vulnerable to an array of new attack vectors. Both IT security and OT security have a common goal: secure the organization from cyberthreats, human error and malfunctions. In this session, attendees will learn how the OT teams can better prevent production downtime and/or manipulation, increase network visibility, have easier planning and execution, and strengthen employees’ safety. Simultaneously, IT can gain visibility and control of the OT network, preventing malware from penetrating the OT network.
