Security Congress Abstract
The image of a hacker is constantly evolving. Hackers are lauded as heroes, discussed daily in the media, villainized at times, and portrayed by Hollywood—anything but ignored. We’ve seen a cultural shift that has taken hackers from being seen as villains to being positioned as an asset for today’s leading organizations. Globally, companies and governments are now leveraging the ethical hacker community to enhance their security portfolio before cybercriminals are able to exploit vulnerabilities.
In this panel, the audience will hear about the hacker evolution. Learn what motivates a hacker, how they think, common mistakes, how to discuss your bug bounty program and top questions for your organization to consider before inviting hackers to test your security landscape.
