Mirtha Collin joined (ISC)² in February 2016, as the Senior Manager of Education before becoming Director of Education in 2019. Previously, Mirtha served as Executive Director of Enrollment and Program Management for Innovative Education at the University of South Florida (USF), the university's thriving online learning, continuing education, degree completion, and workforce development initiative. In this capacity, she was responsible for identifying new markets, working with faculty and instructional design staff to develop relevant and in demand courses and programs, recruiting students, managing student support services, and supporting logistics around program execution and delivery.
Prior to joining USF, Mirtha held a number of positions at Harvard University. Her work as a Senior Project Manager for Harvard’s Office of the President and Provost entailed close consultation and collaboration with senior-level administrators to, among other important projects, engender positive and effective relationships with faculty, as well as conceive and prepare presentations, reports, and various additional communications for both internal and external audiences. Mirtha also served as Senior Campus Planner with Harvard’s Allston Development Group. A graduate of Wellesley College, Mirtha earned a BA in Psychology and went on to receive a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning at University of California at Berkeley.
