Simulation Consultant and Research Coordinator

Mirette Dube is a Masters certified healthcare professional from Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary. She has twenty three years’ experience in multiple clinical areas including critical care and emergency. She has over twelve years’ expertise in simulation and debriefing, faculty development, system integration simulations, leading large scale simulation and quality improvement projects, and has change management and project management certifications. She was the former Director of Quality and Patient Safety education for AHS and within that role gained leadership experience in curriculum design, delivery and evaluation for a provincial program. She has international experience in East Africa as a simulation research coordinator with the University of Calgary/KidSIM program facilitating large scale sim research projects in Uganda. Her primary position is the lead Simulation specialist at Foothills Medical Center, Alberta Health Services.
