A successful and thriving coaching practice requires mastery of coaching and entrepreneurial and business competencies and skills. While new entrants are drawn into the profession of coaching by the short “school time” and quick credentialing process, established professional coaches are busy maintaining their credentials and constantly upgrading their competencies with the hope that new titles and new skills will naturally bring more customers and grow the business. In reality, this approach to developing and growing the coaching practice doesn’t work, as many professional coaches don’t ride the high waves with high hourly rates and a flood of customers. In this presentation, we will use key tools from Blue Ocean Strategy to identify opportunities for growth, and attendees will develop their own growth strategies.
