Beyond the Competencies: What Coachees Expect from Executive Coaching Processes

This session will expand attendees' view about the reasons coachees engage in Executive Coaching as well as what coachees expect from their coaches. Attendees will also understand coachees’ view on what actually happens during executive coaching and what coachees perceived as results from the coaching programs they participated. This presentation is based on recent research conducted with coachees who participated in Executive Coaching programs and is an invitation to reflect on the coachees’ perspective about Executive Coaching.

• Expand the range of reasons coachees engage in executive coaching.
• Assess what happens in executive coaching according to the coachees' perspective.
• Differentiate what is considered a good executive coaching process from the coachee's and organization's point of views.
