Dr Eleanore Knox is a psychiatry resident at the University of Texas at Southwestern. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate studies, where she wrote her honors thesis examining patients' subjective experiences with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). She completed her medical doctorate at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society. She become interested in the care of patients with mental illness making an outcry of sexual assault during her work in a high-volume psychiatric emergency room. She is interested in forensic psychiatry and advocacy for people with mental illness.
