New Partnership for Education

This 11th Symposium of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS, www.htrs.org) is also the first meeting offered in partnership with our basic and translational science colleagues from the North American Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis (NASTH, www.nasth.org).

Target Audience of 600 Colleagues and Potential Mentors, including:

• Clinicians and physician-scientists in pediatric and adult medicine, including related fields like cardiology, pulmonology, or obstetrics/gynecology
• Basic and translational scientists 
• Nurses and nurse practitioners
• Physician assistants
• Pharmacists
• Medical students, trainees, junior faculty
• Any allied health professionals interested in hemostasis and/or thrombosis
• Industry colleagues from leading pharmaceutical companies

Highlights and Important Dates

• Travel Awards covering meeting-related expenses are available for at least one (1) allied health professional and up to eight (8) trainees or early-career investigators from non-commercial institutions who submit outstanding research abstracts
• Registration, Travel Awards application, and Abstract Submissions are now open!
• Continuing Education Credits are offered through the joint providership of the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and HTRS, including AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians, ANCC Contact Hours for nurses, and ACPE Contact Hours for pharmacists
• HTRS Corporate Colleagues and other industry supporters will offer exhibits, satellite symposia, and other special events to enhance the experience for full conference attendees
