Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders

FWGBD is an innovative organization dedicated to achieving the correct diagnosis and management of blood disorders and accompanying reproductive issues in women and girls. The disorders of concern include von Willebrand Disease (VWD), other factor deficiencies, thrombophilias, hemoglobinopathies, sickle cell disease (SCD), immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and anemias. The Foundation works to achieve its goal by raising awareness and educating key healthcare professionals across disciplines.
