What to Pack
The suggested dress code for the Symposium is business casual for all events, including the Awards Reception at Mardi Gras World. Please pack accordingly and make sure to bring a jacket or sweater, as meeting rooms can be cold.
The Registration Desk will be located on the third floor of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Be sure to stop at the Registration Desk to check in and pick up your lanyard with your name badge and conference tote bag near the registration desk. Your admission and drink tickets for the Welcome Reception and Dinner and the Awards Reception and Dinner will be located behind your name badge if you pre-registered for these events.
Each attendee is responsible for picking up his/her own name badge from the Registration Desk. Industry attendees from the same company must visit the Registration Desk individually to claim their lanyards/name badges.
The Registration Desk Team will not hand out multiple name badges for members of the same company to a single attendee.

The HTRS/NASTH 2019 Exhibit Hall will be open in the St. Charles Ballroom of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside on the third floor the following days and hours. Please visit our exhibitors and thank them for their support!

Transportation To and From the Hilton New Orleans Riverside
Discounted overnight parking is for available for $19.50, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside partners with ACCENT on Children's Arrangements for babysitting services. HTRS/NASTH is not providing or arranging babysitting services on the behalf of attendees. Attendees interested in utilizing their services may contact the company directly:

Poster Removal and Collection
Meeting Management will begin to dismantle the Exhibit Hall, where the posters will be located, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11.
Posters not claimed before 11:00 a.m. Saturday will be stored at the Registration Desk and can be collected when the conference ends at 12:30 p.m.
Posters left at the Registration Desk beyond 1:00 p.m. Saturday will be discarded.
HTRS/NASTH, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, and Talley Management Group will not be held responsible for any posters left at the Registration Desk beyond 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Prepare for the Weather (and Indoor Temperatures)
Expect average temperatures to reach the mid-80s during the day with sun, and humidity.
Nights cool down to an average of 68 degrees in May, so plan attire for the warmer climate with humidity.
Air conditioning inside the hotel can make the interior temperature cold, so plan to bring a sweater or other layer to the scientific sessions.
Remember to stay hydrated – plan to drink plenty of water!
New Orleans is in the Central Time Zone. Note that New Orleans does observe Daylight Savings Time.
HTRS Awards Reception and Dinner at Mardi Gras World and River City Ballroom

Friday, May 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Shuttle transportation is provided to this off-site event. Plan to board the buses at the Hilton New Orleans for a 6:15 p.m. departure. You may also choose to walk to Mardi Gras World, walk guides will be available in the Hilton Lobby at 6:00 p.m. please note the approximate time for walking will take 30-35 minutes.
Guests will board the buses to return to the Hilton at 10:00 p.m.; buses will leave the venue no later than 11:00 p.m.
Know Before You Go
We recommend business casual attire comfortable for the warm weather with humidity. Air conditioning inside the hotel and off-site venues can make the interior temperature cold, please bring a jacket or sweater.
Remember to wear your conference lanyard/name badge, which contains your ticket for the Awards Reception and Dinner.
