Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre
I was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. After high school, I was selected into one of the most prestigious medical schools of our country, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Afterwards, I did my Radiology residency from another prestigious institute of the country, the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences, New Delhi. During my residency, I got exposed to Interventional Radiology and loved it from then on. After completing my Senior Residency at the Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, I did Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. I also got selected for the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology Fellowship 2017 and underwent training at Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea. Afterwards I worked at various hospitals in New Delhi, India as an Interventional Radiologist and am currently working as a Consultant, Interventional Radiology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
My lovable wife, Deepti (a pathologist) is my pillar of support. We are blessed with an adorable son named Aarav who is 2 years old and he has given us the best phase of our lives, which is the parenthood. My family also includes my father, who is a doctor too and my role model and my mother who is a writer. My sister Divya is based in Dublin, CA along with her family and they all complete me.
I am a team person who is driven by love for Interventional Radiology, family, friends and humanity.
