Around 7 million Americans are adopted and approximately 140,000 children are adopted by American families each year, resulting in approximately 1.5 million adopted children in the United States. Although no more than 2% of Americans have actually adopted, more than 33% have considered it. Given these broad reaching statistics, it stands to chance that you serve many current and aspiring forever families in your practice.
