Diversity is an issue that poses unique challenges for our profession and the Center for Financial Planning is working to convene stakeholders from across the profession to address it. This session will engage participants in an important conversation critical to the future of the profession. It will explore why diversity matters and the research-based view of the challenges facing financial planners and the causes attributed to the lack of racial diversity in financial planning. Also discussed are the actions firms and practitioners can take to address the lack of diversity in the profession.
