Formerly the Computational Immunology course
The course is aimed at scientists involved or interested in the use of mulit-dimensional data generated by modern genomics and proteomics technologies such as mass/flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing and microarrays. The course will also provide a better basic understanding of modern statistical and mathematical concepts necessary for their analysis and interpretation.
The target audience includes clinical fellows in disciplines related to immunology and translational research; fellows doing basic research with an emphasis on computational data analysis; scientists and other research and development personnel from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in drug target and biomarker identification programs for immunological diseases; and academic or community physicians who wish to enhance their understanding of personalized medicine concepts and computational biology.
