Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Pasquel is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Emory University School of Medicine and received a master of public health degree in Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health. He conducts translational research focused on hyperglycemic crises, and clinical trials evaluating the role of different glucose-lowering medications for the management of hospitalized patients with cardiovascular disease with and without diabetes. He also participates as an affiliated investigator in the HCHS/SOL study. His research is partially supported by NIH (NIGMS).
