Saad S Ghumman, MBBS, MD. PGY -4 Fellow, Cardiovascular Medicine, University of Virginia.
Completed my medical school in Islamabad, Pakistan, at Shifa College of Medicine. Afterwards had the honor to train in internal medicine at the University of Texas in San Antonio. This was a completely life changing experience for me, during this time i developed a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine and clinical research. This lead me to pursue my fellowship at the University of Virginia where I am currently a first year clinical fellow. My research and clinical interests broadly include invasive cardiology, fellow education and training, cardio-renal pathophysiology including contrast induced acute kidney injury. On a personal note, i passionately enjoy playing and watching soccer, travelling has been an avid hobby as well.
