David M. Mego, MD, FACC, FSCAI is Director of Interventional Cardiology at Arkansas Heart Hospital and Assistant Director for the Interventional Fellowship Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in his native Pennsylvania before getting his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, then completing his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center before finishing a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He has lived and worked in Little Rock, AR for more than 20 years. His current research is focused on evolving structural heart technologies and broadening applications for radial access.
