The Illinois Early Intervention Training Program has approved this in-person session for 0.75 hours of EI credential credit in the area of Assessment, and 0.75 hours in the area of Intervention.
This session will discuss working with individuals with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of a genetic syndrome. The speaker will discuss when to recommend a medical diagnostic evaluation as well as how to use phenotypic strengths and weaknesses when assessing and planning treatment for communication challenges and deficits.
